Stefan Strauss has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stefan started their career as a Software Support Engineer at Müller BBM Holding AG in Germany in 1996. From 2000 to 2005, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, providing technical support and consulting services to customers. Stefan then transitioned to the role of Account-Manager Service / Technical Consultant at the same company from 2005 to 2012, where they were responsible for coordinating service delivery and providing technical consulting in various areas. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as a Service Account Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they managed high-level service contracts, coordinated international service delivery teams, and also handled IT project management and team development. In 2018, they joined a startup for Smart Homes and Security Systems as a Leader for Development and Sales. Since 2019, they have been working as a Senior Technical Support Engineer at FileCloud (CodeLathe Inc).

Stefan Strauss attended the Musikgymnasium Regensburger Domspatzen from 1979 to 1989, where they obtained a general qualification for university entrance with a focus on mathematics. Following this, they pursued their higher education at the Technical University of Munich from 1990 to 1996. Here, they earned a degreed engineer degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in information technology.
