Bas D. has an extensive work experience in marketing and account management. Bas has worked as the Head of Marketing for Foodello - Fiksuruoka.fi since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Performance Marketing for dé VakantieDiscounter from August 2018 to July 2021. During this role, they led a team of performance marketeers to achieve business goals and implemented advanced paid marketing strategies. Before that, Bas worked as a Senior Account Manager at Google from August 2016 to April 2018, where they advised large customers across the UK, Netherlands, and Belgium on using Google Ads and DV360 to achieve their business objectives. Bas also collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop international and domestic growth strategies. Bas started their career as an Account Manager at Criteo in 2015.
Bas D. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Technische Planologie from the University of Groningen in 2007. Following that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued Dual Master's Degrees in Environmental and Infrastructure Planning from the University of Groningen and Regional and Urban Development Planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung. In 2008, Bas also completed a Minor in Geography at SUNY Geneseo.
