Alex P. is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Figure since June 2021, previously holding the role of Software Engineer. Prior experience includes working at PTC from March 2018 to May 2021, where Alex rearchitected ThingWorx Analytics, significantly reducing maintenance costs, and integrated real-time analytics capabilities on the factory floor. Prior to this, Alex contributed to SoFi by designing Spring Boot-based REST APIs for financial transaction aggregation, and at Vertafore, developed ETL workflows and data ingestion pipelines for insurance analytics. Alex began a career in software development with internships at CareerBuilder.com and Access Insurance Company. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Georgia.
