Bela Becerra is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in investment and economic policy. Currently, Bela serves on the Investment Team at 8VC since June 2018 and is part of the Founding Team at Figure 1 starting in April 2020. Previous roles include a Summer Analyst position at Morgan Stanley from June 2016 to June 2017, a Senior Development Board member for Stanford Women in Business from October 2015 to May 2017, and as a Student Research Assistant and Event Coordinator at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research from September 2015 to May 2016. Bela also gained analytical experience as a Summer Analyst at East West Bank in June 2015 and held the role of CFO at Zoom for Kids from June 2013 to June 2014. Bela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Stanford University, which was attended from 2014 to 2018, and completed high school at Westridge School for Girls.
