Tom Campbell is an experienced academic and researcher with a focus on biological sciences. Currently, Tom serves as a Visiting Scientist at The Field Museum since 2013 and has been an Instructor at Northeastern Illinois University since 2009. Previously, Tom held the position of Assistant Professor at NGCSU from 2006 to 2009 and worked as a Lead Biologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2004 to 2006. Tom also has teaching experience at Columbia College during the same period and was a Graduate Student at the University of Missouri from 1998 to 2004, where Tom earned a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern Illinois University and the University of Northern Iowa.
