Masoom Alam has a strong background in software engineering, with experience working at Field Control Analytics, Itron, Inc., and Scientific Games. Masoom is currently employed at Field Control Analytics as a Senior Software Engineer. At Itron, Inc., they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on developing web, mobile, and desktop applications using technologies such as C#, Web-Api, WPF, WCF, and Vue. Masoom also held the role of Software Engineer II at Itron, Inc. Prior to their time at Itron, Inc., Masoom worked at Scientific Games as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Analyst.

Masoom Alam completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their 12th grade from Mrs. K. M. P. M. high school with a focus on Science from 2005 to 2007.
