Kanishka Divan has a range of work experience in the software engineering field. Kanishka started their career as a Software Engineering Trainee at Fidenz Technologies in October 2019 and later became an Associate Software Engineer from February 2020 to December 2020. In January 2021, they were promoted to Software Engineer and held this position until December 2022. Currently, Kanishka is serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Fidenz Technologies, a position they started in January 2023. In addition to their work at Fidenz Technologies, they also worked as a Temporary Instructor at the University of Colombo from February 2019 to August 2019.

Kanishka Divan completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Mathematics (Special) from the University of Colombo. This educational qualification was obtained from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, Kanishka attended Nalanda College Colombo from 2011 to 2013, where the specific degree obtained is not provided, but the field of study was Mathematics.

In terms of additional certifications, Kanishka has obtained several certifications from Coursera. In August 2021, Kanishka completed the "AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native" course.
