Geary Kinnett is an experienced banking executive with a robust background in retail banking and operations. Currently serving as EVP, Managing Director of Retail Banking at Ameris Bank since July 2019, Geary oversees retail delivery for 175 branches and call centers, along with banking operations encompassing various functions such as deposit and loan operations. Prior to Ameris Bank, Geary held the position of EVP, Director of Retail Banking at Fidelity Bank, managing 70 branches in Georgia and Florida, and also served as EVP, Regional Executive at First Citizens Bank, overseeing operations across multiple states. Geary's career began at Bank of the West, where Geary was SVP, Regional Manager, supervising several key markets. Geary's educational background includes an MBA from Oklahoma City University and a Graduate Banking degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Fairfield University.
