Javier Barrera has a long and varied work experience. Javier began their career in 2003 as the Chief Technology Officer and Administrative Assistant, Risk Management Consultant, HR Management and IT Manager at Barrera Serveis a la Construcció, S.A. In 2004, they became a Junior Software Developer at Informática Madi, S.L. where they designed and implemented an application with a database for a metal transformations company. In 2007, they worked as a Freelance Web Designer and Marketing Manager at Institut Lleidatà d'Estudis Superiors. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Lead Programmer at Plunge Interactive, where they developed games and mobile apps with Unity 3D game engine and Xamarin platform. Javier then became the Chief Operating Officer and CEO of Starshot Software from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they were the CTO Games at Fidelis Ideas and in 2020, they became the CEO of Game Troopers and CIO of The Hyst Life.
