Lauren Akins currently serves as an Accounting Contractor at Ficus Education and has been a Mortgage Loan Originator with UMortgage since October 2022. As a Co-Owner of The Akins Agency since February 2019, Lauren also has previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator at VanDyk Mortgage Corporation from April 2021 to October 2022 and as an Accounting Contractor at QBRUS from September 2014 to February 2020. In these roles, Lauren has focused on helping companies maximize profits and minimize expenses, utilizing proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quickbooks. Lauren is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology at Georgia Gwinnett College, following studies at Georgia Southern University.
