Mathew Stanley

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Fictionary

Mathew Stanley has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mathew co-founded Feedback Innovations Inc. in 2016 and served as the Chief Operating Officer. Mathew played a crucial role in creating Fictionary.co, a software that simplifies story editing through automation.

Prior to that, Mathew worked as the General Manager at Rainbow International Restoration of the Kootenays from 2015 to 2016.

Mathew also worked at MTS (Manitoba Telecom Services) as a Project Manager in 2012. Their responsibilities included managing the deployment of cellular network upgrades and overseeing key projects such as the capacity upgrade of the MTS Centre arena and introducing new cellular services to northern Manitoban communities.

From 2006 to 2009, Mathew owned MJS Project Management, where they provided turn-key project management services for the financing, design, construction, and handover of a $4.1 million employee housing project.

In 1995, Mathew held the role of Direct Product Management at Nortel Networks. Mathew led the product development strategy for the introduction of the DMS telephone switch, enabling Sprint Telecom to compete in the German market.

Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager of Customer Satisfaction at Bell Northern Research from 1993 to 1995.

Their career at Nortel Networks began in 1990 as a Senior Project Manager. During their tenure, they managed the construction of a 7-city telephone network across Japan and implemented a company-wide Customer Satisfaction program for Nortel Japan.

Mathew Stanley attended the University of Manitoba from 1981 to 1985, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. After that, they enrolled at Allura from 1999 to 2004, studying Marine Transportation. Lastly, from 2009 to 2013, Mathew attended Mattina, focusing on Marine Transportation.
