Giovanni Mendoza is an experienced software engineer specializing in automotive applications and embedded systems. Currently serving as an ADAS Software Engineer at FICOSA since March 2023, Giovanni focuses on the Vehicle Surround View System while maintaining and developing Autosar and Sysbios applications and integrating deep learning algorithms. Giovanni's previous roles include software development at Ericsson, where contributions were made to 5G user plane software, and consulting as a software engineer at ALTEN for Volvo Cars. Earlier experiences include embedded software engineering at Vitesco Technologies and Continental, where Giovanni developed Autosar drivers for powertrain systems and acted as Scrum Master. Giovanni also worked as a firmware engineer at Intel, focusing on BIOS/UEFI development. Giovanni holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computational Engineering and Mathematics at Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
