Luc van Es is an experienced operations leader currently serving at Fibrant since March 2022. Previously, Luc held the position of Troop Commander MARSOF at Korps Mariniers from June 2018 to June 2022, overseeing national counter-terrorism operations and serving as Team Leader MARSOF, specializing in full spectrum special operations and mountain leadership. Prior to that, Luc was a trooper at Ministerie van Defensie and held the role of Officier der Mariniers, including a position as Troop Commander for the Recce-Sniper Troop from March 2015 to June 2017. Luc obtained a degree as Officier der Mariniers from Koninklijk Instituut voor de Marine (KIM) and a degree in Physical Education (1st grade) from Fontys Hogeschool (ALO Tilburg).
