Arnstein Gloppen's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 1999, they worked as a journalist at Schibsted. From 2002 to 2006, they served as a Research Manager at Bjerke & Luther AS. Arnstein then worked as a Consultant specializing in research and analysis at ISCO Group from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Senior HR Consultant at Det Norske Veritas, handling people processes for various business units. At EY, Gloppen held the positions of Assistant Director in HR from 2012 to 2014 and Associate Director in Nordic HRBP Tax & Law from 2017 to 2022. During their time at EY, they also served as Associate Director in Nordic HR Operations/Enablement Leader from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are working as the Global People Manager for IT at DNV since 2022. Gloppen also worked at FIBA as an Instructor for referees.
Arnstein Gloppen completed their high school education at Valler videregående skole from 1991 to 1994, with a focus on physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Arnstein then pursued further education at BI Norwegian Business School from 1997 to 2006, earning a Siviløkonom (Master/Graduate degree in Economics and Business Administration) with a specialization in organizational psychology.
In addition to their formal education, Arnstein Gloppen has obtained several certifications. In 2000, they became a certified user of the Team Climate Inventory (TCI) through Human Factors AS. In 2008, they achieved certification as a user of psychometric tools from cut-e, an Aon company. In 2009, they gained certification as a user of occupational psychometric tools through DNV GL and also completed the Diversity Icebreaker program by Human Factors AS. In 2015, they became a certified recruiter through DNV GL. Furthermore, they obtained a Digital Bronze Badge from EY in 2019 and acquired accreditation as a Team Management Profile (TMP) through TMS Americas in 2023.
