Mary Butler TD currently serves as Vice President of Fianna Fáil and has been the Minister of State for Mental Health & Older People in the Department of Health - Ireland since July 2020. As a Teachta Dála for Waterford since February 2016, Mary Butler holds responsibilities as Fianna Fáil spokesperson for Older People, Public Health & Health Promotion, and Chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Business, Enterprise and Innovation. Prior to this role, Mary Butler was a Local Councillor for the Comeragh Local Electoral Area with Waterford City & County Council from May 2014 to February 2016.
