M. Katherine Stroker currently serves as General Counsel at FHI 360, providing expert legal advice to senior leadership since December 2019. Previously, Stroker was an Attorney-Adviser at the U.S. Department of State, specializing in international disputes and claims. Stroker also held the position of Deputy CEO and Acting General Counsel at the Peace Corps during a presidential transition and served as Deputy Assistant General Counsel at USAID, advising on risk mitigation for international development projects. Early career experiences include a Senior Associate role at Dechert LLP, law clerk for the Honorable Michael M. Baylson, and a Foreign Lecturer in Law at the University of Paris. Stroker has a BA in Political Science from Yale University, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and a certificate in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School.
