Grace Hechler has over 20 years of experience in the design industry. Grace has worked in various roles and companies, starting as a recreation leader for the City of Redwood City in 2001. Grace'sfirst design-related role was as a resource librarian for Stallworth Enterprises, Inc. in 2007. Grace then became a designer for DG Architects where they assisted with projects and managed the office resource library.
Grace later worked at One Workplace as a designer on the Learning Environments division, where they focused on designing for educational spaces. Grace'sresponsibilities included material and product selection, creating 2D and 3D drawings, and presenting technical install plans. After leaving One Workplace in 2017, they worked at McCoy-Rockford as a senior interior designer, where they were responsible for space planning and material selection for a range of clients.
In 2019, Hechler opened their own design business, Design Aspects, before moving on to work as an interior designer for Pfluger Architects. Grace will be starting a new role as an interior designer at FGM Architects in May 2023. Overall, they have experience in a range of design disciplines, including material and product selection, space planning, and rendering.
Grace Hechler attended Cañada College from 2001 to 2004, where they earned an Associates Degree in General Education. Grace continued their education at the Academy of Art University from 2004 to 2008, where they completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture & Design.
