Walker Loetscher has a strong background in editorial roles, with experience in managing and overseeing various publications. Walker began their career as a Contributor at The Date Report at HowAboutWe.com from December 2011 to January 2013. Walker then worked as a Contributor for BroBible from January 2012 to January 2013.
Loetscher joined Howler Magazine as Managing Editor in 2015, where they assisted the Editor in Chief with the publication of two issues. Their duties included story assignment, deadline management, top editing, copyediting, collaboration with the art director, and working with the copy chief.
In 2016, Loetscher joined InsideHook as an Associate Editor, managing the day-to-day publication of InsideHook's men's interest daily email. Walker later became the Managing Editor, overseeing the publication of InsideHook's national and local editions. In this role, they managed a team of editors and contributors, established and oversaw editorial voice and publishing strategy, executed advertising campaigns, and collaborated with the executive team. Walker also oversaw the merger of RealClearLife and InsideHook in 2019.
Loetscher's most recent role was at Wondercade, where they served as Editor. Walker coordinated and oversaw the launch of Neil Patrick Harris's weekly newsletter, developing the brand, voice, design, and growth strategy. After the launch, they acted as the primary editor, liaising with Harris, generating and editing copy, managing the editorial calendar, and overseeing contributors. Wondercade won the People's Voice Award for Entertainment and Culture at the Webbys in 2023.
Currently, Loetscher is EVP of Creative Strategy at FEVO, starting in March 2022.
Walker Loetscher attended Battle Mountain High School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a high school diploma. Walker then went on to study at Georgetown University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
