Wade Bruce

Chief Technology Officer at Fetch

Wade Bruce has diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Wade is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Fetch Rewards since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Principal Engineering Lead from March 2021 to October 2022 and Staff Engineering Lead from September 2020 to March 2021 at the same company.

Before joining Fetch Rewards, Wade worked at Bunker from August 2017 to September 2019. Wade first served as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Engineering Manager. At Bunker, Wade contributed to simplifying liability insurance purchasing and management for small businesses.

From January 2011 to May 2018, Wade served as a Captain in the Army National Guard. Their responsibilities in this role are not specified.

Wade also has experience working at Spredfast, where they were a Back End Engineer from April 2016 to August 2017. At State Farm, they worked as a Software Developer from June 2012 to April 2016, specializing in building customer authentication frameworks.

In addition, Wade worked as a Mobile Application Developer at LinkPoint Media from February 2015 to May 2015, where they developed Android and iOS applications. Wade also served as a Teacher's Assistant at Olivet Nazarene University from August 2009 to May 2012, providing support in teaching, grading, and general assistance for students.

During their stint at New Ink Design from January 2011 to January 2012, Wade worked as a Web Developer, creating and deploying websites and developing WordPress themes. Wade also has freelance web development experience prior to that.

Wade began their professional journey as an IT Intern at Life Technologies from May 2010 to August 2010.

Wade Bruce received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Olivet Nazarene University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In 2013, they obtained certifications in Network+ and Security+ from CompTIA.
