Alyssa Hansen is an experienced educator specializing in Spanish and service learning, currently serving as a Middle School Spanish Teacher and Service Learning Coordinator at The Fessenden School since August 2015. Prior experience includes teaching high school Spanish at Teach For America and various roles at The Fessenden Summer ELL Program, where Alyssa co-taught English and designed language games and environmental awareness curricula. Additional roles encompass a teaching assistant at the University of Vermont, where Alyssa led discussion sessions and mentored students, along with volunteer positions as a teaching intern and resident advisor. Alyssa holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Environmental Studies with a focus on Sustainability Education and Spanish from the University of Vermont.
