Shawn Kalami has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shawn began their career at Weitek as a Product/Test Engineer in 1990 and then moved on to Sun Microsystems as a Component Test Engineer. In 1995, they joined S3 Incorporated as a Test Engineering Manager.

In 1997, Shawn joined SiRF Technology as the Director of Product and Test Engineering, where they led various teams involved in the development and production of GPS technologies. Shawn remained with the company until 2003.

From 2003 to 2007, Shawn worked at Silicon Image as the Sr. Director of Operations. In this role, they rebuilt and reorganized functional areas of the company to improve quality, streamline processes, and reduce costs.

Shawn then joined Quantenna Communications in 2007 as the Sr. Director of Operations. Shawn was responsible for creating an infrastructure that aligned different teams and executed strategies to increase revenue and enhance product quality. During their time there, the company achieved 400% quarterly revenue growth with zero quality complaints.

In 2014, Shawn joined Horizon Global as the Corporate/Supplier Quality Manager. Shawn held this role until 2017.

Currently, Shawn is serving as the Vice President of Operations at Ferric, Inc. Since joining the company in 2017, they have been responsible for overseeing operations and contributing to its growth and success.

Shawn Kalami has pursued higher education in the field of Physics at the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Following this, they pursued further education in Electrical Engineering at Santa Clara University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in APQP/PPAP from AIAG. No specific dates for the completion of these educational experiences or the certification are provided.
