Upul Silva is an experienced professional in the field of polymer chemistry, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Fenner Conveyors since August 2016. Prior to this role, Upul held positions including Senior Compounder at ContiTech Conveyor Belt Group from 2007 to 2016, R&D Chemist at Advanced Polymer Technology Australasia from 2005 to 2007, and Plastics Technologist at Martogg & Company from 2002 to 2005. Early in the career, Upul worked as a Process Chemist at Motorway Tyres from 2001 to 2002 and as a Product Executive at CIC- ELF ATOCHEM from 1994 to 2000, focusing on the technical marketing of rubber, plastics, and polymer raw materials. Educational accomplishments include a Graduateship in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Ceylon, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Polymer Chemistry from the University of SJP.
