Maxie Matthiessen has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2005, they worked in the CSR department of Otto Group. In 2008, they joined MYC4 as an Investor Relations specialist, and later that year, they also worked in the Groups Economic Research and Development department at Allianz. In 2009, Maxie worked in the Department of Humanitarian Assistance at the Global Public Policy Institute. In 2010, they joined Tryg, where they focused on strategy, planning, and corporate social responsibility. From 2011 to 2016, they co-founded and worked at Ruby Life Ltd. In 2012, Maxie was a board member of Young Women Social Entrepreneurs. Currently, they are the founder of Femna Health M.E. GmbH, a position they have held since 2016.
Maxie Matthiessen obtained a Master's Degree in International Business & Politics from Copenhagen Business School between 2005 and 2011. In 2010, Maxie Matthiessen was a visiting student at the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on Political Economy. Additionally, between 2007 and 2008, Maxie Matthiessen participated in the Erasmus program at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, pursuing studies in Political Science.
