Derek Jones is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and community development. As the founder of The Barnabas Beat since July 2020, Derek has focused on empowering leaders through counseling and consulting. Additionally, Derek has served as an independent business owner at Inspirational Life Works since June 2019, offering life coaching and team-building services. Since September 2015, Derek has represented the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in a school setting and has been the pastor at Catawba Baptist Church since January 2006, fulfilling the role of pastor and teacher. Educationally, Derek holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Gardner-Webb University and a degree in Horticulture from Catawba Valley Community College.
