Haixun Wang is a seasoned technology leader and expert in data management and natural language processing, currently serving as the VP of Engineering and Distinguished Scientist at Instacart since 2020. Wang is also the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Data Engineering Bulletin and an IEEE Fellow since 2017. Additional roles include Distinguished Fellow at the Fellows Fund, Trustee on the Board of Trustees for the VLDB Endowment, and Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington, all since 2022 or 2023.
