David Haerle has a diverse work history in the sourcing and supply chain field. David started their career with Alstom Power as a Manufacturing Engineer and then became a Sourcing Team Leader. David then worked as a Senior Buyer at Dennis Eagle before joining ACCO Brands as a Purchasing Manager and later as a Pan European Purchasing Manager. Haerle then moved on to Fellowes Brands where they held the positions of Senior Global Supply Chain Manager and Director of Global Sourcing & Supply Chain. At Fellowes Brands, they were responsible for strategic development of the global vendor base, cost and project management, and ensuring vendors met market and end consumer requirements.
David Haerle attended Chesham High School from 1982 to 1984. From 1984 to 1988, they attended City of Ely College, but they did not obtain a degree or focus on a specific field of study at either of these institutions. In 1989, they began their studies at the University of Nottingham, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Management. David completed their degree in 1992. After a few years, from 1997 to 1999, they attended Nottinghamshire College to pursue a degree from the Charted Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) in Purchasing & Supply.
