Calib Miller

Calib Miller has worked as a Director at Feeding South Florida since July 2022, and previously served as a Team Leader at 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, USMC from August 2001 to February 2006.

Calib Miller has a diverse education history. Starting in 2015, they attended Green Mountain College and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies in 2016. They then pursued a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Food Systems at the same institution from 2016 to 2018.

In 2019, Calib enrolled in Antioch University to pursue a PhD in Leadership and Change, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

Throughout their education, Calib also obtained several certifications. These include a Project Management - Lean Process Certification, a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and an Executive Management Certificate, all from the Management and Strategy Institute in 2019. They also obtained a Farmers Market Manager Certificate from the Virginia Farmers Market Association and completed the PSA Grower Training Course from the Produce Safety Alliance in 2019.

Additionally, Calib obtained certifications in research ethics, including a Humanities Responsible Conduct of Research certification, as well as AU Graduate School of Leadership and Change certifications in HIPAA and Human Participants in Research, all from the CITI Program, in both 2019 and 2023.

In terms of other qualifications, Calib holds a Double/Triple Trailer Endorsement (T) (CDL) from the Commonwealth of Virginia, obtained in 2018. They are also a certified Advanced SCUBA Diver (NAUI) since 2003 and hold a ServSafe Manager certification from ANSI National Accreditation Board/ANAB, obtained in 2019.
