Zuani Maria Villarreal has extensive experience in community engagement and communications within nonprofit organizations. Currently, serving as Sr. Director of Community Engagement at Feeding America since February 2016, Villarreal develops and implements communication strategies while managing media relations as a spokesperson for both English and Spanish media. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Development Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio, where an $11 million capital campaign was successfully launched. Villarreal also held the role of Chief Development Officer at San Antonio Food Bank, progressing from an Americorps VISTA volunteer. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Financial Analyst at Nortel Networks. Villarreal holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
