Eli Harouche has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Eli started their career at AT&T as a Senior Software Architect, where they designed and implemented an administrative task for handling microprocessor clusters. Eli then moved on to Sprint as a Senior Software Engineer and Project technical leader, where they worked on packet data switches and end stations for packet data networks. At Sprint, they successfully solved performance and efficiency issues and added new features according to international standards.
After that, Eli joined Viavi Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on unspecified projects from 1999 to 2002. Later, they joined Hughes Network Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they became a lead maintenance engineer for major carriers in the USA cellular data networks. In this role, they developed cellular communication protocols, enhanced software features, and integrated system software and hardware.
Eli then worked at Interlect as a Senior Software Engineering Consultant, where they provided IT strategic and tactical consulting services. Eli managed the company's main E-learning system for high school students and presented it to the staff and ministry of education. Eli also offered consulting services to improve technical and personnel standards and procedures.
Subsequently, Eli joined Interlect Financial Research as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on data mining, data collection, and optimization. Eli automated data collection and filtering from the web and performed statistical analysis of data, including historical stock prices. Eli also recommended trading strategies and conducted portfolio risk management.
In 2017, Eli joined 3D Innovations as an OpenCV - Senior Software development Consultant. Here, they modified OpenCV code to rewrite morphing functions for the ARM NEON Processor, aiming to improve performance for 3D image and video processing.
Currently, Eli is working at Federated Wireless as a Sr. Software Developer (Contractor). Eli is a senior member of the technical staff responsible for the research and development of critical components in the Spectrum Access System for NOAA Satellite and Earth Stations.
Eli Harouche holds a Master's degree in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1980, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography at Tel Aviv University.
