Nischala N. Nimmakayala

Deputy Associate Director at Federal Reserve

Nischala Nimmakayala is currently the Assistant Director at the Federal Reserve. Prior to this, they spent over 20 years in various software engineering positions.

Nischala started their career as a programmer analyst at Cs Software Enterprise Ltd in 1997. Nischala then moved to Mahi Networks as a software engineer in 2001. After a short stint there, they joined Meaningful Machines as a software engineer in October 2001.

In 2006, they switched gears and moved to Fannie Mae as a senior software developer and tech lead. Nischala then spent a year as an applications systems engineer/lead at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage from September 2011 to March 2012.

Most recently, they were with Capital One from March 2012 to February 2022, where they held the position of Sr. Director, Software Engineering.

Nischala N. Nimmakayala attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for their Executive Leadership Development Program. Nischala also attended Osmania University and Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. Nischala is certified by ScrumAlliance as a Certified ScrumMaster and by Sun Microsystems as a Sun Certified Java Developer.
