Alexis Akervik has extensive experience in creative and web services, currently serving as Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis since July 2009. Throughout this tenure, roles have included Product Manager, Operations Supervisor, Project Director, Lead UX Specialist, and Media Representative, overseeing media relations for the Minneapolis Fed and the Financial Services Policy Committee. Prior to this, Alexis worked as a UX Specialist for the City of Minneapolis and freelanced in graphic design and front-end web development. Additional experience includes design positions at Ham in the Fridge, Olive and Company, and Tunnel Studio, as well as an internship at American Girl/Mattel. Alexis began a career in gymnastics coaching while also working as an Electronic Prepress Intern at Kramer » Design and Print Agency. Alexis holds a B.S. in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota.
