Sandi Brown

VP Diversity Equity And Inclusion & Deputy OMWI Director at Federal Reserve Bank Of Chicago

Sandi Brown serves as the Assistant Vice President of Diversity Equity and Inclusion at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since February 2023. Prior to this role, Sandi held the position of Deputy Commissioner and Chief Racial Equity Officer at the Chicago Department of Public Health from September 2020 to February 2023, where responsibilities included leading strategic planning and developing a racial equity framework. Sandi's extensive experience also includes serving as Senior Director of Professional and Organizational Development, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion at Elgin Community College, as well as consulting on diversity and inclusion strategies at Bea Young and Associates, Inc. Sandi's career began at the Illinois Department of Transportation, where leadership roles spanned from Senior Regional Director of Training to Senior Equal Employment Opportunity and Labor Compliance Officer. Sandi holds a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Roosevelt University.
