Melody Dawe is an experienced professional in the housing and finance sectors, currently serving as the Down Payment Products Manager at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines since May 2019. In this role, Melody oversees national Down Payment Products programs and supports various community investment initiatives. As the owner and creator of Blue Moon Bath and Body since June 2023, Melody also engages in entrepreneurial activities. Previously, as the Homeownership Center Director at HomeSight from May 2015 to May 2019, Melody managed multiple housing programs in Washington State, including mortgage lending and HUD counseling. Additional experience includes roles at Community Frameworks and Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation, focusing on loan processing and underwriting. Melody holds an Associate degree in Liberal Arts/Psychology from Morris County Community College and is continuing education at Montclair State University.
