James Hotchkiss has extensive work experience in the financial industry. James started their career as an intern at First Midwest Bank in 2006, where they facilitated loan incorporation and led acquisition integration projects. In 2008, they worked as an intern at Capital Market Daily, conducting research on derivatives and writing articles for the company newsletter. Since 2009, they have been working at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, initially as the VP and Director of Strategy and Solutions. In this role, they led a team of analysts in developing internal strategies and providing external consulting to clients. James also advised executives at financial institutions on various financial products and asset-liability management strategies. Currently, they hold the position of VP and Senior Director at the same company.
James Hotchkiss earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Iowa, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. James furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, specializing in Analytical Finance, Economics, Managerial, and Organizational Behavior. This took place from 2015 to 2017.
