Stephen Verbil possesses extensive experience in emergency telecommunications and public safety management. Currently serving as a Consultant at Federal Engineering, Inc. since November 2020, Stephen previously held the position of Emergency Telecommunications Manager at the State of Connecticut DESPP/DSET for over eleven years, providing critical telecommunications services to public safety users. As the owner of Verbil Communications, Inc. from December 2000 to October 2008, Stephen specialized in public safety telecommunications consulting, focusing on PSAP management and radio system design. Additionally, Stephen managed the 9-1-1 center for the Town of Fairfield, CT, overseeing its operations and budget from January 1989 to December 2000. Early career experience includes roles as a Firefighter and Paramedic at Tempe Fire Department and Fairfield Fire Rescue Department, which laid the foundation for a robust career in emergency services.
