Sean O'Tormey is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as Team Lead Program Analyst at the Federal Aviation Administration since November 2020, Sean oversees work on exemption decisions in the Office of Rulemaking while managing team communication and workloads. Previous roles include Program Analyst and acting Team Lead within the same office, where Sean handled UAS exemption petitions. Earlier career experiences encompass positions as an Attorney at Consilio LLC, USPTO as a Trademark Examining Attorney, and in the Office of Appellate Operations for the Social Security Administration, among others. Sean holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School and a Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from William & Mary.
