Tamas Sashalmi began their work experience in 2007 as a Research Associate at Imperial College London. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Test Engineer at blueAid, where they were involved in system integration, IT administration, market research, data mining/analysis, and software development. Tamas then joined Nokia as a Software Test Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Performance Engineer. In 2016, Sashalmi joined Sainsbury's as a Performance Engineer, where they performed performance testing on the grocery web application during its transition to Amazon cloud. Since 2018, they have been working at Featurespace, first as a Senior Performance Engineer and currently as a Principal Performance Engineer.

Tamas Sashalmi earned a PhD in Physics from Vanderbilt University from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc degree in Physics from Debreceni Egyetem from 1994 to 2000. Tamas also holds a certification as a Scrummaster from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in September 2013.
