David Sutton is a highly experienced professional in the fields of innovation and data science, currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Featurespace since June 2015, where significant contributions include the creation of a research and development department and the development of Privacy Enhancing Technologies for secure data sharing among banks. Previously, David held various roles at Featurespace, including Director of Innovation and Director of Analytical Technology. David's career also includes a Data Science Fellowship at Faculty, where a crewing demand model for easyJet plc was developed, potentially saving £10m annually. Prior academic experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge, analyzing data from the ESA Planck satellite. David holds a DPhil in Astrophysics from the University of Oxford and an MSci in Astrophysics from UCL.
