Young-Shiuan Hsu is a Product Engineer II at FDH Infrastructure Services since June 2023, specializing in optimizing hardware and developing algorithms with parallel processing architecture to enhance backend computation efficiency. Previously, Young-Shiuan worked as a Product Engineer, focusing on using ultrasonic waves to detect bolt tension. Prior internships include a role at Knowles Corporation as a Product/System Engineer Intern, where a smart alarm system was developed, and a machine learning algorithm was designed for audio defect detection in MEMS. Young-Shiuan also served as a Software Engineer Co-op at National Taipei University, creating a Chinese Pronunciation Error Detection System that achieved a 93% accuracy rate. Furthermore, experience at the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan) involved projects aimed at improving children's learning efficiency through data analysis. Young-Shiuan holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from National Taipei University.
