Melanie Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Melanie currently holds the position of Director of Global Logistics Operations at FCDO Services, a role they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they were the Strategic Account Director at FCDO Services from November 2018 to March 2022, and before that, they served as the Customer Business Director from July 2017 to November 2018.
Before joining FCDO Services, Melanie worked at Crown Commercial Service as the Business Operations Manager from October 2016 to July 2017. Melanie also had a previous role at Crown Commercial Service as the Senior Contracts Manager from March 2015 to July 2017, where they focused on achieving value for money, high performance, and innovation from private industry contracts.
Earlier in their career, Melanie worked at the Legal Aid Agency as the Area Contract Manager from May 2001 to February 2015. Melanie Johnson has an extensive education history. Melanie earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Applied Social Sciences from Kingston University in 1990. Melanie then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Middlesex University, which they completed in 1992. Later, they obtained a Master of Arts in Social Policy and Administration from Goldsmiths, University of London in 1997. More recently, they earned a Master of Science in Management and Organization Analysis from Birkbeck, University of London in 2010. Additionally, they hold a certification in MSc Management and Organizational Analysis from Birkbeck, University of London.
