Jan Smit currently serves as a Calculator werkvoorbereider at KBK bouwgroep since July 2024. Smit has been involved with RKAV Volendam since August 2009, holding roles as a Goalkeeperscoach and Trainer & Coördinator, with responsibilities including training various youth goalkeeper teams and coordinating the selection of keepers. Additionally, Jan Smit has worked as a Keeperstrainer at FC Volendam since July 2022, focusing on developing young goalkeepers and scouting talent. Previously, Smit was a Stukadoor at Smit & Tol from 2017 to July 2024 and a Keeperstrainer for youth teams at FC Volendam from June 2020 to June 2021. Smit completed education at NCOI Opleidingen in May 2023.
