Md Safi Ullah

Md Safi Ullah has a diverse work experience in various research and engineering roles. Md Safi started their career as an Intern at the Institute of Solid-State Physics Jena, where they worked on photovoltaics. In 2018, they joined the Otto-Schott-Institute for Materials Research as a Research Assistant, focusing on the mechanics of functional materials. Concurrently, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IOF, specializing in surface and thin film characterization. Their most recent role is with FBGS - Tailored Fiber Optic Sensing Components & Solutions, where they started as a Production Engineer in March 2021 and later transitioned to the position of Development Engineer starting in May 2022.

Md Safi Ullah pursued their education chronologically, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from the University of Asia Pacific. Md Safi attended this institution from 2011 to 2014. Later on, from 2017 to 2019, they joined the Abbe School of Photonics Jena and obtained a Master of Science degree in Photonics.
