Nessa Kavanagh's work experience includes various roles in IT architecture and management. Nessa is currently the Head of IT Architecture at FBD Insurance since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Operational Architecture, Transitional Applications & Decommissioning at Allianz Technology from March 2021 to September 2022. Nessa also served as the Enterprise Architecture Manager at Allianz Partners from November 2017 to March 2021. Nessa has additional experience as a Solution Architecture / Software Development Manager at Allianz Technology from January 2016 to November 2017. Before that, they worked as a Technical Architect at Allianz Worldwide Care from April 2011 to January 2016, and as a Senior Oracle Developer from November 2007 to April 2011. Nessa's earlier experience includes roles such as a Senior Retention MIS Analyst at Meteor, MIS Technical Lead at Walsh Western, MIS Applications Consultant at Hibernian Insurance, and Data Quality Officer / Oracle Forms & Reports Developer at the Health and Safety Authority.

Nessa Kavanagh has a comprehensive education history that spans multiple fields of study. Nessa began their academic journey in 1994 at Dublin City University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics until 1999. Later, in 2002, they returned to Dublin City University to complete a Higher Diploma in Information Technology, which they finished in 2004.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Nessa Kavanagh attended University College Cork in 2017, where they obtained a Higher Diploma in Leadership Development, which was completed in 2018.
