Catriona Standfield

Member, International Research Working Group On Women, Peace, And Security at FBA (Folke Bernadotte Academy)

Catriona Standfield is an Assistant Professor at Worcester State University since August 2020 and a member of the International Research Working Group on Women, Peace, and Security at the Folke Bernadotte Academy from June 2023, focusing on integrating research into inclusive peacemaking policies. Catriona has previously served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame, and has extensive research and teaching experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University. Additional roles include Advisory Board Member for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (Australia) and Youth Delegate to the UN Commission on the Status of Women. Catriona holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Syracuse University, alongside a combined degree in Development Studies and French with 1st class honours from the University of Adelaide, where a Diploma of Languages in Indonesian was also obtained.
