Amanda Olsson Myrvik has extensive experience in peace and conflict studies, currently serving as a Coordinator for the UN and the strategy for sustainable peace at the Folke Bernadotte Academy since August 2018. Prior to this role, Amanda was a Project Officer at Interpeace from September 2015 to June 2018, where additional responsibilities included serving as a Programme Assistant and Intern. Amanda began their career with internships at the United Nations Institute for Training & Research and the Embassy of Sweden in Lusaka, Zambia. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies from the University of Gothenburg, complemented by studies at Sciences Po Grenoble.
