Amanda Cavin is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Principal of Fayette County Public Schools since June 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Principal at Henry County Schools from July 2015 to March 2024 and serving as a Teacher on Assignment for Project-based Learning in Henry County Schools from July 2014 to May 2015, where Amanda facilitated professional development in PBL for educators. Amanda's teaching career spans various grade levels and roles, including special education and gifted education, beginning as a Teacher with the Henry County Board of Education in July 2004. Additionally, Amanda contributed to the Georgia Department of Education in multiple capacities, including collaborating on K-5 Mathematics revisions and leading webinars. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from The University of Georgia and several other degrees and certifications in education.
