Michael Ontiveros is a seasoned data scientist and epidemiologist currently working at the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. since April 2023. Previously, Michael Ontiveros held roles at the CDC Foundation, serving as an epidemiologist from November 2021 to April 2023 and earlier as a data scientist and epidemiologist from September 2020 to August 2021. Prior to that, Michael Ontiveros worked as a data scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from August 2019 to August 2020 and volunteered with Bienestar Human Services in 2017 supporting syringe services program operations. Michael Ontiveros earned a Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2020 and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies from The Johns Hopkins University in 2019.
