Tim Borchert

A seasoned leader with more than 22 years of relevant industry experience leading multidisciplinary teams through complex operational improvement initiatives, Tim is a Project Management Institute-certified Project Management Professional and a Healthcare Financial Management Association-Certified Healthcare Financial Professional with a master of business administration from the State University of New York, Empire State College and a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. Prior to co-founding Federal Advisory Partners (F|A|P) in 2017, Tim served as a Deputy Director with Altarum Institute, nonprofit research and consulting organization, and was the Managing Director of his own health care consulting firm that provided advisory services to optimize business performance within a multitude of health delivery organizations. In his role as Chief Executive Officer of F|A|P, Tim is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing the organization’s vision, mission, and overall direction, in addition to evaluating competitive landscapes, opportunities for expansion, client development, and partner relationships. Following F|A|P’s acquisition of FTC, Tim oversees the strategic planning, direction, and vision for the merger, leading integration efforts across organizations and charting the course for rapid acquisitional and organic growth across the combined portfolio.

A published author and keynote speaker, Tim’s thought leadership has been featured in several health-related journals and at regional and national health care finance conferences. In 2020, Tim was recognized as a “Rising Star of GovCon’ by DCA Live. He currently serves as an Advisory Board Member to Housing Families First, a nonprofit organization that provides families experiencing homelessness with the tools to achieve housing stability, and as a Board member to the Tewaaraton Award Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to the Native American community through educational scholarships and youth development.
