Roger Schmeits is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in infrastructure engineering and systems administration. Currently serving as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Boys Town since May 2013, Roger specializes in storage and virtualization architecture, with expertise in VMware ESX/vCenter, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and various storage solutions including EMC and PureStorage. Previous roles include System Administrator at Metropolitan Utilities District and Systems and Network Administrator at ConAgra Foods, where responsibilities included system architecture design and implementation of Microsoft Distributed File System. Earlier experience as a Senior Network Engineer at Clarkson College involved Linux administration and backup system management.
