Loïc Dekester

Lead Software Engineer at FastSensor

Loïc Dekester began their career as a Laboratory Technician at the Centre de Biologie et de Pathologie EST in 2012. Loïc then worked as a Junior Analyst in the adhesive department at Henkel, where they conducted quantitative analysis and routine analysis on adhesive compounds using various technologies.

In 2015, Loïc joined Plastic Omnium, where they focused on research and development of car exhaust depollution using SCR technology. Loïc also developed analytical methods and prepared enzyme conjugates with polymers.

In 2016, Loïc worked as a Chemical Engineer at SDMIS, where they developed analysis methods and optimized analytical techniques for civil security threats. Loïc also trained a team of firefighters on chemical analysis.

From 2017 to 2018, Loïc worked as a Full Stack Developer at ACTIV'CONSULT'ING', where they created a web app for evaluating potential candidates and successfully launched it for use by the recruiting team.

In 2018, Loïc joined CGI as a Full Stack Developer, responsible for developing and deploying web applications for insurance companies. Loïc also provided maintenance and upgrades for tracking and reporting tools used by senior management.

In 2019, Loïc ventured into mobile app development, where they developed and designed the architecture of a social network app for iOS and Android devices. Loïc successfully deployed the beta version of the app.

In 2020, Loïc worked as a Software Engineer, developing and designing a web application with Google Apps Script and Google Sheets as a database. Loïc also deployed the application on clients' G Suite accounts.

Currently, Loïc is serving as the Lead Software Engineer at FastSensor, where they are responsible for front-end development, including the transition of the dashboard to a new stack and implementing multiple visualizations and reporting capabilities powered by Google API.

Loïc Dekester attended CPE Lyon from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Chemical Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Lycée Jeanne d'Albret from 2009 to 2011, focusing on Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles PCSI - PC. Loïc completed their secondary education at Lycée International Saint Germain en Laye from 2002 to 2009, earning a Baccalauréat Scientifique OIB Espagnol. Loïc Dekester also holds a certificate of proficiency in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
